Wells Professor in the department of <a href=\"https:\/\/econ.williams.edu\/\">Economics<\/a> at Williams College. I am a tax economist, with particular interest in labor supply and tax treatment of the family.\u00a0 I have a PhD from the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Williams, I am affiliated with the <a href=\"https:\/\/political-economy.williams.edu\/\">Political Economy<\/a> program and I am currently faculty director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/diversity.williams.edu\/pathways\/shss\/\">Summer Humanities and Social Sciences<\/a> program.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am the David A.
