Cody, Coffee, Calculus

The coffee bar has closed a while ago, but Goodrich is wide awake with the energy that is Ritmo Latino. My JA—and modern Renaissance man—Cody P. Carrier is killing it casually on center stage. Glancing down to see them practice every now and then is a healthy, much needed break from calc homework, I think. It took me three hours, but I’m finally finished with it and now I’m busy ignoring the work that’s next in queue by writing. Cathartic, really. Since I’m but a simple Div 3, all three of my remaining brain cells that are awake have to focus on coming up with the next word—no time to worry about my upcoming CS lab. Shit, now that I mention it, I should really start.

What to take next semester, or, more generally, what to do with my life?

I think the ambient coffee-shop atmosphere of Goodrich makes me feel like a writer so I’ll be strictly reserving blogging to when I’m in here. Upper floor again, but this time with my boy Alan, who is also stressing about which courses to take come spring. I want to try out a tutorial but none spark 100% interest in me; I’m interested in an Ethics of AI course but it meets at night; I’d love to take Bernie’s What is Self but it’s in high high demand; I should take CS237 but the professor is new and iffy on Factrak—such is life. Still we beat on.

Hello world!

It’s half past Goodrich closing hours but I’m probably heading back to Mission soon because my laptop’s running out of battery. Weiwei is humming along to some acapella related work. Soothing atmosphere up here in Wightman Room on a quiet Monday night.
