The Picturing Our Past website was created by Team Bikini Bottom, part of WIT 2009. Professor Hank Art, a member of the Biology and Environmental Studies departments at Williams College, was the faculty sponsor.

Team Bikini Bottom consisted of Azd Al-Kadasi ’12, Aayush Khadka ’12 and Bret Scofield ’10.

Webcrawlers, part WIT 2003, developed the ContentDM database and the original Picturing Our Past website.
