The language programs use the Performed Culture Approach.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/deall.osu.edu\">Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures<\/a> at The Ohio State University offers year-long and summer intensive language programs (taught with PCA) in Chinese and Japanese.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wofford.edu\/academics\/majors-and-programs\/modern-languages\/chinese-studies\/startalk\">STARTALK @ Wofford<\/a> offers a three-week intensive Chinese language and culture program for 6th-12th graders in Spartanburg, Greenville, and nearby regions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Performed Culture Fund \u4f53\u6f14\u6587\u5316\u57fa\u91d1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After retiring from the Ohio State University, Professors Galal Walker and Mari Noda have used part of their retirement savings to set up <a href=\"https:\/\/columbusfdn.fcsuite.com\/erp\/donate\/create\/fund?funit_id=5752\">a Performed Culture Fund through Columbus Foundation<\/a>. They have spent their careers focused on East Asian language pedagogy and the development of the Performed Culture Approach to learning to communicate in a foreign language and culture.
