The JWMS at Williams College awards up to one annual book prize to recognize outstanding scholarly works that either examine Miller\u2019s philosophy, engage with his methodology by demonstrating its application, including in teaching, or that are devoted to topics with which Miller was engaged. Book prizes range from $7,000-$12,000 on any given academic year.<\/p>\n
In order to submit a book for consideration, it must be published or immediately forthcoming (having cleared the review process) from a reputable press, whether academic or popular. Submissions are collected on a rolling basis, any time during the year, with a deadline of August 1 for consideration for the next academic year\u2019s annual prize. A submission will include:<\/p>\n
