\"George<\/a>The John William Miller Fellowship Fund lost its foremost member when George P. Brockway (1916\u20132001) died at his home in Chappaqua, New York, on October 5, 2001.<\/p>\n

This page honors George and celebrates his many accomplishments as the president of W. W. Norton & Company, an economist, and the executor of John William Miller’s literary estate. The members of the Miller Fund express their great gratitude for George’s friendship over the years and for the unstinting efforts he made on behalf of Miller’s philosophic legacy.<\/p>\n

On the afternoon of 26 October 2001, the Brockway children asked family and friends to gather at the Century Club for a memorial ceremony in honor of their father. Among those who spoke were Mr. Douglas Brockway, Dr. Joseph P. Fell, and Mr. W. Drake McFeely.<\/p>\n

The New Leader<\/em><\/h2>\n

Douglas Brockway has created a blog, \u201cThe Dismal Science<\/a>,\u201d where he is posting George Brockway\u2019s articles on political economy which appeared in The New Leader<\/em> in the 1970 and 1980s. The articles are enhanced with hyperlinks to previous posts as well as to external references.
