In order to make the print queues available to multiple users you would have to use some arcane &#8220;RUNDLL&#8217; command lines.  <\/p>\n<p>Now a set of group policy settings can be employed to map printers based on a variety of factors.  A great store of information about this can be found at:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.grouppolicy.biz\/tag\/printer\/\">http:\/\/www.grouppolicy.biz\/tag\/printer\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>How I have set this up in our GPO looks like the following:<br \/>\nPolicies &#8230;.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/lj1\/files\/2011\/08\/printing_policies_GPO.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/lj1\/files\/2011\/08\/printing_policies_GPO-300x140.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"140\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/lj1\/files\/2011\/08\/printing_policies_GPO-300x140.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/lj1\/files\/2011\/08\/printing_policies_GPO.jpg 838w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Preferences &#8230;<br \/>\n(There are quite a few more of these then what is shown here.
