Travel and directions

How to get to Williams College

  • By car: Williamstown is at the intersection of MA route 2 and US route 7, about 3 hours from Boston and one hour from Albany NY.
  • By air: The closest airport is Albany, New York.  From there, you can either (a) rent a car or (b) take a car service.  Norm’s Limo (413-663-8300) charges $125 one-way.   A listing of private drivers, who generally charge less than Norm’s, can be found here on the College’s website.  You can also fly to Bradley, although the drive to Williamstown is significantly longer (close to two hours).
  • By bus: it’s also possible to take the Peter Pan bus from Boston or New York City.

Detailed directions and information about transportation options can be found here on the College’s web site.
