Both race and technology are created <em>by<\/em> the world and, simultaneously,\u00a0<em>create<\/em> the world, altering the way we see reality. They speak to the way that history and society are\u00a0<em>woven <\/em>through stories, hinting at the dual power of digital storytelling: to do and <em>un<\/em>do.<\/p>\n<p>We were inspired by Audre Lorde&#8217;s essay &#8220;Eating The Other,&#8221; and wanted to explore the ways in which technology transforms whole people and places into\u00a0<em>byte-<\/em>sized headlines, movies, gifs, and memes: stories that we can eat.<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This video explores the confluences between two social constructs or creations: race and technology.
