{"id":1074,"date":"2023-02-26T06:16:12","date_gmt":"2023-02-26T11:16:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/environmental-justice\/?p=1074"},"modified":"2023-02-26T06:17:06","modified_gmt":"2023-02-26T11:17:06","slug":"2023-healthy-housing-mini-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/environmental-justice\/funding\/2023-healthy-housing-mini-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding Opportunity &#8211; 2023 Healthy Housing Mini-Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #d5dade\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) announced \u00a0&#8220;2023 Healthy Housing Mini-Grants: Innovative Strategies to Support Home-Based Child Care Providers,&#8221; a new funding opportunity to help communities pursue and\/or implement their project ideas for creating a financing solution\u00a0for home-based child care providers and others to address environmental hazards in child care homes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">NCHH invites communities to apply for a bundled award of coaching and support over 12 to 16 months, including access to a network of national experts to assist grantees in conceptualizing and\/or executing their strategy, the opportunity to learn from peer communities and share their own successes and challenges, and a $20,000 grant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">While projects may benefit a larger population, they must explicitly include and address the healthy housing needs of home-based child care providers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">NCHH anticipates that a minimum of three communities will be selected. <b>Eligible applicants include local or regional nonprofit and community-based organizations and county, local, state, and tribal government agencies<\/b>.
