In this episode of “Dollar and Sense,” David Dollar hosts Wang Huiyao of the China and Globalization think tank in Beijing for a discussion about China’s role in the global economic order.<\/p>\n

Wang presents a much more positive picture of China’s engagement with the world than much typical western media portrays. It’s a useful counterbalance to many of the negative stories.<\/p>\n

Maintaining a balance in China between economic growth and stability, reform and certainty, calls to mind an old Chinese aphorism: “Governing a large country is like frying very small fish.”<\/p>\n\t
