Based in Washington, D.C., some of their content is US-centric, but because of all that policy nous they have accumulated, their foreign affairs analyses are also very sharp.<\/p>\r\n<p><a id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.piie.com\/\"> The Peterson Institute <\/a> <a id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.piie.com\/\">The Peterson Institute for International Economics<\/a> does a lot of great work on questions that affect multiple countries.<\/p>\r\n<p><a id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/marginalrevolution.com\/\"> Marginal Revolution <\/a> <a id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/marginalrevolution.com\/\">Marginal Revolution<\/a> is a blog run by Georgetown economists Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok. It&#8217;s quirky, but they&#8217;re a universally curious bunch, and they tend to see new trends in economics coming up before they&#8217;ve hit the mainstream.<\/p>\r\n<p><a id=\"fl-accordion--label-4\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/\"> <i> The New York Times <\/i> <\/a> <a id=\"fl-accordion--icon-4\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/\">The New York Times<\/a> writes with a certain upper-middle-class New-England flavor, but they do tend to keep abreast of some of the latest developments in economics research, and their Covid-related coverage is now free.<\/p>\r\n<p><a id=\"fl-accordion--label-5\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><\/a><a> <i> The Economist <\/i> <\/a> <a id=\"fl-accordion--icon-5\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"#\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>An economics-research list wouldn&#8217;t be complete without <a href=\"https:\/\/marginalrevolution.com\/\">The Economist<\/a>. Although their subscription is paid, you can check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.economist.com\/podcasts\/\">their podcasts<\/a>, which include snippets from interviews that they write about in their weekly subscription, as well as a selection of the audio versions of three of their weekly articles.
