Based in Washington, D.C., some of their content is US-centric, but because of all that policy nous they have accumulated, their foreign affairs analyses are also very sharp.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\" tabindex=\"0\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.piie.com\/\"> The Peterson Institute <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\" tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.piie.com\/\">The Peterson Institute for International Economics<\/a> does a lot of great work on questions that affect multiple countries.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\" tabindex=\"0\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/marginalrevolution.com\/\"> Marginal Revolution <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\" tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/marginalrevolution.com\/\">Marginal Revolution<\/a> is a blog run by Georgetown economists Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok. It&#8217;s quirky, but they&#8217;re a universally curious bunch, and they tend to see new trends in economics coming up before they&#8217;ve hit the mainstream.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-4\" tabindex=\"0\"><\/a><a href=\"\"> <i> The Economist <\/i> <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-4\" tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>An economics-research list wouldn&#8217;t be complete without <a href=\"https:\/\/marginalrevolution.com\/\">The Economist<\/a>. If you&#8217;re happening to be looking for a new book to read, their weekly book recommendations are a good place to start.<\/p>\n<p>Although their subscription is paid, you can check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.economist.com\/podcasts\/\">their podcasts<\/a>, which include snippets from interviews that they write about in their weekly subscription, as well as a selection of the audio versions of three of their weekly articles. If you&#8217;re a dedicated podcast listener in lieu of buying a subscription, you won&#8217;t be missing much.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and their covid-related coverage is also free.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-5\" tabindex=\"0\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gutenberg.org\/\"> Project Gutenberg <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-5\" tabindex=\"0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gutenberg.org\/\">Project Gutenberg<\/a> brings together many (over 60,000) free-ebooks that have entered the public domain. This is the place to go if you&#8217;re wanting to read up on some Adam Smith or any of the worldly philosophers.
