COVID-19 Precautions + Request a Repair

Per the CES department’s reopening plan, the Purple Bike Coalition will not be holding traditional open hours this coming semester. If you would like your bike repaired, please fill out the form below and lock your bike to one of the two racks outside the shop on the first floor of Mark Hopkins. You will need to know the following:

  1. Your lock combination or the location of the hidden key
  2. A description of the bike (this can be brief; color, brand, etc., just so we can identify it)
  3. Information about what has been going wrong (the more detail the better)

If you do not have a lock, email us and we can arrange something.

Repairs are free and available for anyone in the community, including but not limited to Williams professors, staff, and students.

We will be thoroughly disinfecting bikes before and after repairs, and the shop will only allow two mechanics, both masked, inside at one time. For the rental program, all bikes and locks will be disinfected after being placed on the outdoor racks. When you come to pick your bike up, please be sure to check that the number on the bike matches the one we have assigned to you before touching it.

If you’re having trouble finding the shop, check out this map (the red scribble and the little house icon). It should be pretty recognizable once you’re up close.
