The committee is comprised of representatives from College Council, Peer Health, Active Minds, and the student body at large. By facilitating discussion, addressing issues we see, and learning about the ones we do not, the committee is\u00a0striving to make Williams a community that does not hide from personal struggle, but faces it head on.<br \/>\nThe Mental Health Committee has been\u00a0collaborating\u00a0with the Chaplain&#8217;s office and Psych Services. For more information about these offices, click on the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/activeminds\/resources\/\">Resources<\/a>&#8221; tab above.<\/p>\n<h3>The Mental Health Committee is comprised of representatives from the following groups:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Active Minds<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Active Minds is a student-run organization working to use the student voice to<br \/>\nchange the conversation about mental health on college campuses. Our goal is<br \/>\nto increase students\u2019 awareness of mental health issues, provide information<br \/>\nand resources regarding mental health and mental illness, and encourage<br \/>\nstudents to seek help as soon as it is needed. We work to reduce the stigma<br \/>\nsurrounding mental illness that often prevents students from seeking treatment.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Active Minds\" href=\"http:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/activeminds\">http:\/\/sites.williams.edu\/activeminds<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Healthy Ephs\" href=\"http:\/\/facebook.com\/HealthyEphs\">http:\/\/facebook.com\/HealthyEphs<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>College Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"College Council\" href=\"http:\/\/collegecouncil.williams.edu\/\">http:\/\/collegecouncil.williams.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Peer Health<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Peer Health is a student-run organization that serves as a liaison between the Health<br \/>\nCenter and the student body. We provide the Williams community with information<br \/>\nabout mental and sexual health.
