Penny struggled, passed, and put down<\/p>\n<p>A964 Q63 T7 JT83<\/p>\n<p>A Diamond lead solved that suit. As I ran the Diamonds, my RHO discarded a couple of Hearts and that suit came in without difficulty to make 7. The other table bid just 5D against my teammates Diana Lack and Jerry Ostrov.<\/p>\n<p>In Florida last week visiting Farley Mawyer and Jill Marshall, a neighboring table had this auction. East was dealer. West passed out of turn. Not seeing West&#8217;s pass, East bid 2H (now technically out of turn). Instead of calling the Director to properly penalize East-West, South now bid 3C, accepting their actions.
