Hi, my name is CJ Salapare, and I am a sophomore and prospective art history major at the College. I’m beyond excited to visit Kyoto because it fuses my interests in art, history, and culture — I’m particularly drawn to the course’s focus on meeting with traditional artisans and learning how they have thrived within a rapidly changing and modernizing world.
