I am the David A. Wells Professor in the department of Economics at Williams College. I am a tax economist, with particular interest in labor supply and tax treatment of the family.  I have a PhD from the University of Michigan.

At Williams, I am affiliated with the Political Economy program and I am currently faculty director of the Summer Humanities and Social Sciences program.
