Chawakua

This video is about the work of Chawakua, an NGO created in 1992 in Arusha, Tanzania to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS among women and children. Their programs include youth talks about HIV prevention, microfinance loans to create small businesses, and educational support including paying school fees. The video was made collaboratively by members of Chawakua with students from Williams College. It is in Swahili and English, and was made in 2009.
