Les Bienfaits d’un Metier pour une Jeune Fille

This video is about the work of the Groupe de Reflexion et d’Action pour le Developpement du Senegal (GRADES), an NGO created in Kaolack in 1995. GRADES educates women and girls, and trains them in income-generating skills such as tailoring. The video was made by members of GRADES in collaboration with students from Williams College, with support from Africa Consultants International (ACI), an NGO based in Dakar, Senegal. It is in Wolof and French, and was made in 2008.
